Mumbai: (news.kvartha.com 29.04.2020)Actor Irrfan Khan died on Wednesday in Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he was being treated for a colon infection. In 2018, Irfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor and has recently returned to acting after receiving treatment abroad. Irrfan Khan was last seen in Angrezi Medium, which released a little over a week before the lockdown was imposed in India.
Irrfan acted in many remarkable movies including Bollywood hits Piku, Maqbool, Haasil and Paan Singh Tomar. His English language films included Life Of Pi, Jurassic World, Slumdog Millionaire and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Irrfan Khan is survived by his wife Sutapa and two sons. Condolences have been pouring in from across industries at the news of the sad demise of the actor.
