Mumbai: (news.kvartha.com 02.04.2020) Kovid disease spreads in various slums of the city. Twenty-five new cases were reported in the slums of Dharavi, Kolivada and Kurla, where millions of people live.
Authorities shut down several buildings in Dharavi, the largest slum in Asia. Two hundred buildings have already been closed in various parts of the city.
The health department is trying to prevent the communal spread of the disease in the densely populated colonies.
Mob started pelting stones to police as they tried to disperse a crowd that had gathered in the area after learning about the man's death due to corona in Dharavi. Nobody was injured in the incident and the police have registered a case against unidentified persons.
